You’ve probably already noticed but the people who work hard to make our roads a safer place to travel typically only put guardrails on the sections where there is a higher chance of a serious accident.
Hairpin corners, high crash incident areas and places with steep cliffs usually warrant a guardrail.
By looking at the dents and paint samples on any particular guardrail one can quickly assess how well placed it was.
Guardrails are not pretty as they are purely functional… their sole purpose is to protect us from whats on the other side.
Although having the need to use a guardrails services will result in a ding, dent or scrape it is much better than the alternative of entering the danger zone of whats on the other side.

It is these same areas in our life were we often will crash and burn leading to significant and traumatic times that could largely be avoided with the right planning.
A guardrail only helps you when it is placed intentionally prior to driving too close to that particular cliff.
There are many ways to use guardrails to curb anxiety and protect yourself from a world of unnecessary hurt.
Sit dow and create a budget for a financial guardrail.
Look at the relationships that cause you anxiety and stress and set some personal boundaries.
If you’re prone to addictions, find an accountability partner or join a support group before it becomes a larger problem.
If you see signs of your career tearing at the seams of your family and marriage set some guardrails to protect that which is most important to you.
Be honest with yourself, assess the areas of your life you feel most vulnerable and then intentionally use guardrails to curb anxiety and protect yourself from future errant decisions.
