Anxiety Have You Captive?

Anxiety Have You Captive?

anxiety have you captive?“You can chain me, you can torture me, you can even destroy this body, but you will never imprison my mind.”

Mahatma Gandhi
1869-1948, Political and Spiritual Leader

The quote above shows such incredible resolve…

It inspires me!

If you are in a room with people you don’t like, you can leave…

If you don’t appreciate where you live, you can move…

But where do you go if you don’t like your inner world?

Would you allow someone to walk into your house unannounced and start messing things up?

Your home is your sanctuary and you would do everything in your power to protect it right?

How much more protective should we be with our own minds?

Of course none of us want to be overwhelmed with anxiety, fear, and panic but are we really doing all we can to be free of it?

Do you have the tenacity within you that NOTHING will imprison your mind?

Does anxiety have you captive?

If so, what steps are you taking today to win back control of your inner sanctuary?

The battle for your mind is one worth fighting.

PS.. The quote above reminded me on a post I did a few months back A Mind is Like a Home… Who or What Are You Allowing in Your House
